Brenton's surgery went really well. We got there at 10:30 and they took him back around 11:45. At 12:12 his doctor came out and said absolutely everything went perfect. What a relief to hear! When the nurse carried him back I was chocking back the tears. He didn't whine or cry at all when they took him. In fact, the other little boy that was there to have surgery after Brenton was screaming up a fit and Brenton was telling him " No No No". It was awesome. In the recovery area was a whole different story. He did not like waking up from the anesthetic. He was mostly pissed that there was an IV sticking out of his hand. Once they took that out and I got his diaper and clothes on he cried for another 20 minuets or so before finally passing out. They let us leave a little after 1. Brenton then slept until 4:15. From what Bart said he woke up all types of cheerful, but a little confused. They only time he has been getting cranky now is when he pees in his diaper it seems to hurt him, but that's totally to be expected. He slept pretty normal for him last night and woke up around 7:30. He seems to be doing alright.
